Bodybuilding Supplements That Work

This is a topic that a lot of people don’t really understand, If you talk to a non-gym person, and say ‘I take supplements’, the first thing they ask you about is STEROIDS, if you talk to a gym junkie, and say ‘I take supplements’, the first thing they ask is ‘tell me about the bodybuilding supplements that work‘.

We’ve written a lot about supplements from weight gain shakes help, do supplements help muscle gain, and bodybuilding supplements for muscle secrets. And there is one theme running through them all, when it comes to using supplement in the gym, its horses for courses. Which means what works for one person doesn’t necessarily mean it will work for everyone.

Things to remember

1. Bodybuilding supplements are just that SUPPLEMENTS you shouldn’t expect to take them and expect miracles to happen.  You need to make sure you have a well balanced diet and are following a decent exercise program in the gym.  Making sure that your are working out your entire body, while lifting heavy weights.

2. You might find all you get is an expensive yellow pee.  I usually find that when I start taking supplements, especially vitamins, all I get is yellow pee, it doesn’t necessarily mean that they aren’t helping me at all. But the point is GAUGE the reaction, give your body time to adjust, and if after a 4 -6 week period, if you feel no real difference then GET OFF THEM, and STOP WASTING YOUR MONEY.

3 MUST HAVE BODY building supplements that work.

  • Protein supplement
  • BCAA
  • Multi-vitamin

And If I could only choose 1 of those supplements to take it would be the protein supplement. To be honest, protein is the building block of your muscle, so it’s that thing that needs to be fed the most. It, I can load up on salads and veges, if I had to go with out the bCAA’s and Multi-vitamins. So that’s the bodybuilding supplements that work, always remember they should only ever be a supplement and not your sole focus.
